Network Resource Technician
Location- Englewood, CA (100% onsite- M-F)
Job Summary:
The Network Resource Technician is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and troubleshooting an organization’s network infrastructure. This role involves configuring hardware and software, monitoring network performance, and ensuring reliable connectivity across all systems. The technician works closely with IT teams to ensure optimal network functionality and security.
Open to both Sr and Jr level candidates.
Excellent opportunity for junior-level candidates who have completed relevant technical training and certifications and are eager to grow their careers in network support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
- Assist in the setup and support of LANs, WANs, VPNs, and wireless networks.
- Maintain network documentation and update system configurations.
- Respond to user-reported issues and service requests in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with IT staff to implement network upgrades and improvements.
- Ensure network security by following best practices and company policies.
- Perform routine maintenance and system backups.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in network support or a similar role.
- Basic understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Familiarity with routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network , Cisco CCNA) are a plus.
Work Environment:
- May require after-hours support or on-call availability.
Salary : $21 - $23
