What are the responsibilities and job description for the Network Administrator position at Visory?
About the Role:
Visory is seeking a Network Administrator to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of both internal and client networks. In this role, you’ll be the go-to escalation resource for complex network issues, contribute to client-facing projects, and proactively monitor environments to maintain uptime. You’ll work closely with Support Teams, peers, and client stakeholders to deliver high-quality service within SLAs, while helping to define and enforce network standards. This is a hybrid role with Wednesdays and Thursdays required in the Visory Phoenix office.
What You Will Be DOING:
- Network Installation & Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain internal and client network equipment and infrastructure.
- Monitoring & Issue Resolution: Proactively monitor networks, troubleshoot and resolve issues, escalate as needed, and respond to outages within SLAs.
- System Updates & Patching: Patch and maintain client network infrastructure to ensure reliability and security.
- Standards & Documentation: Define, document, and enforce system standards; maintain diagrams and technical documentation.
- IP Space Management: Manage internal and client-facing IP space and related configurations.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with support teams, peers, leadership, and client stakeholders to communicate project updates and performance.
- Project & On-Call Support: Participate in project work, provide onsite support when needed, and serve in a rotating on-call schedule.
What You Will NEED:
- Location & Travel: Based in Phoenix, AZ metro area; in-office 2–3 days per week with occasional out-of-state client travel.
- Experience & Certifications: 2–4 years’ network management/troubleshooting experience, CompTIA Network required; A , Security , or Cisco CCST preferred.
- Technical Skills: Hands-on with Cisco Meraki/SonicWall and knowledge of Windows Server, Azure networking, and IT support tools.
- Troubleshooting & Adaptability: Strong diagnostic skills for complex technical issues and ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt quickly to change.
- Communication & Client Service: Excellent communication, listening, and client-care skills and accurate documentation and scheduling practices.
- Work Style: Self-motivated and effective in a fast-paced environment.

Salary : $60,000 - $65,000
