Visium Resources has been asked to identify qualified candidates for this Electro/Mechanical technician position. This position is a contract-to-direct hire opportunity, which is expected to be on-site in the Pine Hills area of Orlando, FL.
- 5AM - 3:30PM Monday - Thursday Some overtime as required
Job Summary:
Vehicle assembly installer will be responsible for building new and refurbished vehicles in a fast-paced production environment. The ability to manipulate a variety of materials while using different types of mechanical and hand tools.
Responsibilities:
- Must be punctual and maintain daily attendance and work ethic at the highest level.
- Work in a high paced manufacturing environment and meet established workflow
- standards.
- Read and understand complex assembly drawings and circuit schematics.
- Must be able to test, troubleshoot and repair both 110/12V automotive circuitries.
- Able to use all standard hand tools and power tools, including chop saws, band saws and drills.
- Fabricate aluminum and ducting materials as needed.
- Comply with all safety and manufacturing policies.
- Auto Mechanic Experience preferred.
Requirements:
Physical Requirements:
- Occasional lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Remain standing on feet for long periods of time.
- Frequent carrying, grasping, reaching, pulling, pulling, stooping for parts and supplies.
Required Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 1-3 years automotive manufacturing experience.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma
- 2-4 years automotive wiring experience.
