About our PCA/HHA role (** C.N.A.'s & DSP’s are encouraged to apply! **):

As a Personal Care Aide (PCA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) for Visiting Nurses Home Care, you will be responsible for providing one-on-one in-home quality care to our clients. PCA’s will be responsible for following Care Plans, Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s), providing an emotional, healthy, supportive, and safe living environment. As a PCA, you will be under the supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse (Branch Manager).

Training Details:

• 6-day structured classroom program

Does the following apply to you?

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Valid NYS Driver’s License (in good standing) or NYS Identification Card
• Reliable transportation required
• Active, working cell phone
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and pre-employment physical
• Must be vaccinated against the flu (or have an approved religious or medical exemption)
• Compassionate, dependable, responsible, and friendly with a strong work ethic
• Ability to interact with clients respectfully and with dignity, providing high-quality care that allows clients to remain safely in their homes
