About the role:
The Executive Director of Operations for Community Care will provide strategic leadership overseeing all operations, finances, staff, and programs, while promoting a culture of excellence, accountability, and exceptional care. This position will report to the Vice President of Health Equity and serve as the crucial link between the services provided by Visiting Nurse Health System and our clients and community partners, focusing on quality care, community engagement, compliance, and ensuring sustainable growth for community-based services.
The ideal person for this position is mission-driven, highly motivated, and an expert in community-based healthcare service delivery. This position requires data-driven decisions to develop and implement strategic plans, ensure mission alignment, provide overall direction, and set productivity standards to meet the additional demands for community-based care.
Experience in non-profit and/or governmental services management, or waiver programs, is a plus.
Responsibilities:
The Executive Director of Operations has clinical oversight in addition to daily service delivery, ensuring compliance with governing organizations and payers at the highest standards.
- Demonstrates proven decision-making, organization, and management skills,
- Ensures that all medical management practices are aligned with industry's best practices, Medicaid standards, and the highest standards for client care and safety,
- Analyze data and implement evidence-based practices while monitoring continuous improvement strategies,
- Must demonstrate knowledge of program policies and the appropriate application for regulatory alignment,
- Constant collaboration with payors, governmental agencies, industry, and community leaders,
- Development and implementation of the budget, revenue goals and delivery of anticipated financial outcomes,
- Provide leadership for clinical staff, oversee productivity goals, provide guidance, support, performance feedback and evaluation, plan and monitor professional development, and ensure adherence to protocols,
- Engage in appropriate written and verbal communications with your team, senior leadership, clients, families, payors, and regulators,
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure,
- Perform quality assurance audits on all clinical records while driving important workflows and quality outcomes,
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Nursing, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field, with a valid GA license preferred,
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Health Science field, with a valid GA License required,
- 5 – 10 years of demonstrated knowledge and experience in budget development, financial literacy, and productivity system design based on desired outcomes,
- 5 – 10 years of experience as a leader, administrator, or regulator of community-based healthcare service delivery,
- 5 – 10 years of leadership experience in care management activities in community-based programs.
- Demonstrated knowledge of continuous process improvement methodology, and the development and implementation of key performance indicators (KPI) through transformational change.
