Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Home Health Aide (HHA)We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Home Health Aides (HHAs) to join our team at our intimate 6-bed inpatient hospice center. This is a unique opportunity to provide personalized, hands-on care and emotional support to patients and families during one of life's most important journeys.
Our hospice team is committed to delivering comfort, dignity, and exceptional care in a peaceful, home-like environment.
Responsibilities- Provide personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility assistance.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living while promoting comfort and dignity.
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment.
- Provide compassionate emotional support to patients and their loved ones.
- Collaborate with nurses, social workers, chaplains, and other interdisciplinary team members.
- Document care provided according to agency policies and regulations.
Requirements:
- Current Indiana CNA certification or HHA certification.
- Previous hospice, long-term care, hospital, or home health experience preferred.
- Current CPR certification preferred.
- Ability to demonstrate empathy, professionalism, and strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
