As a Wound Care Provider at Visiting Doctor Solution, you will be delivering high-quality advanced wound care services to patients in a nursing home. This role involves traveling to multiple locations in the Macomb County to provide specialized wound care and management for bedridden patients, at their homes. Your knowledge and experience in wound care and your ability to work independently will be crucial in ensuring the best outcomes for patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessment and Treatment: Conduct thorough assessments of patient wounds and develop individualized treatment plans. Implement advanced wound care techniques, including surgical debridements to correct undermining and/or tunneling of chronic wounds that aren't responding to conservative care measures.
- Collaboration with Healthcare Teams: Work closely with other healthcare professionals at each facility to coordinate care and provide updates on patient progress.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records, documenting all assessments, treatments, and patient interactions.
Qualifications:
-Wound Care Experience
- Valid License as a NP.
- Ability to travel to multiple locations.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Experience with EMRs and note writing
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $70.00 - $80.00 per visit
- Mileage will be reimbursed
