Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of others? Visiting Angels is looking for dedicated and compassionate caregivers to join our team. We provide high-quality, personalized care to seniors and individuals in need throughout Tukwila, WA, and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate and personalized care to clients, including seniors and individuals recovering from illness or injury.
- Assist with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and medication reminders.
- Ensure a safe and comfortable environment by maintaining cleanliness and tidiness.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary requirements.
- Accompany clients to appointments, social outings, and recreational activities.
- Monitor and report any changes in the client's physical or mental condition to healthcare professionals or family members.
- Offer companionship and engage in meaningful conversations with clients.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, including laundry, dishes, and general tidying.
- Provide emotional support and reassurance to clients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided.
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a caregiver or in a related field is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to adapt to varying needs and work well under pressure.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Flexibility to work day, evening, or overnight shifts as needed.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if applicable).
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
