We are seeking dedicated caregivers to join our team at Visiting Angels in Cambridge, OH, and the surrounding areas. In this role, you will play a vital part in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by providing compassionate and personalized care. Your contributions will help ensure that our clients can maintain their independence and dignity in the comfort of their own homes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist clients with daily living activities (ADLs) to promote independence.
- Monitor and document clients' health status and report any changes.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Engage clients in social activities to enhance their well-being.
- Administer medication as prescribed and ensure adherence to care plans.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a caregiver or in a related field is preferred, but not required.
- Knowledge of Alzheimer's and dementia care is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations is beneficial.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Valid Driver's License, reliable vehicle, and up-to-date vehicle insurance.
