Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Caregiver role located in Foley, AL. As a Caregiver with Visiting Angels, you will assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands. Duties also involve providing companionship and emotional support, ensuring a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment. You will play a significant role in enhancing the quality of life for those you serve while maintaining their dignity and independence.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in providing compassionate and dependable assistance, including personal care and emotional support
- Practical skills for meal preparation, light housekeeping, errands, and maintaining a safe living space
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trust and rapport with clients
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow care plans accurately
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license, if required for the role
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Experience in caregiving or a related field is a plus, but not required; on-the-job training may be provided
