Role Overview:
As a Home Caregiver at Visiting Angels, you will be responsible for delivering compassionate and dependable in-home care to seniors. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our caregiving team to ensure the comfort and safety of our clients. You’ll have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships and positively impact their daily lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist seniors with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
- Assist with daily living activities, including meal preparation and light housekeeping.
- Monitor and report changes in clients’ health and well-being to family members and medical professionals.
- Collaborate with the caregiving team to ensure that each client's care plan is followed and updated as necessary.
Qualifications:
You're a great fit if you have the following skills.
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is required.
- Strong communication skills, including proficiency in English.
- Compassionate nature and a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
Bonus If You:
- Have relevant certifications or training in caregiving.
- Have knowledge of first aid and CPR.
Employment Type & Availability:
This position hires for Full-Time, Part-Time, or PRN positions, depending on current needs Sunday through Saturday.
Location:
This position is on-site only in Ardmore, Oklahoma and surrounding communities.
