About us
Visiting Angels West Metro is seeking experienced and compassionate caregivers to provide one-on-one care to seniors in their homes throughout the southwestern suburbs. We are looking for individuals with high levels of patience and kindness who are reliable and able to work independently.
We are looking for Caregivers to join our team, serving clients in the Prior Lake area on weekends. We are in need of caregivers willing to work mornings and/or afternoons, evening or overnight shifts. Shifts can vary in length from 4 hours to 12 hours, depending on your availability and preferences. We are looking for Caregivers that are open to working with male clients.
The Caregiver is responsible for the physical care and emotional support of our clients who may no longer be able to perform all the tasks of daily living due to illness, injury, surgery, or disability. The ideal candidate must be able to care for our clients and their property with dignity, patience, compassion, and respect. This person will encourage and remain empathetic to the clients at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Provide companionship and emotional support to the elderly.
- Able to use a hoyer lift
- Assist with activities of daily living personal cares, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide transportation to medical appointments and other activities.
- Help with light housekeeping tasks.
- Assist with meal preparation and grocery shopping.
- Monitor medication intake.
- Encourage socialization and physical activity.

- Hours: Wednesday and Friday: 9 AM to 1 PM
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
