Our Mission

Our mission is rooted in personal experience. Our owner, Stephen Shoup, witnessed firsthand the impact dementia and Alzheimer’s had on his family as both of his grandmothers faced the disease and required increasing support. One of them was cared for by Visiting Angels, and that experience shaped his commitment to ensuring families never feel alone or overwhelmed. We believe that caring for those most in need lifts an enormous burden from families — and that’s the work we show up for every day.

Our Ideal Candidate

Job Responsibilities

• Companionship, light housekeeping, meal preparation

• Medication reminders, running errands, transportation to appointments

• Assisting with activities of daily living and specialized Alzheimer’s/Dementia care

Requirements

• Treat clients with dignity and respect

• Weekend availability (varying)

• Effective communication skills

• Valid driver's license and auto insurance

• Compliance with State of Pennsylvania regulations, DMV check, and background checks.
