Responsibilities:
- Provide in-home care to clients, assisting with activities of daily living
- Help clients with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Medications reminders (not administration of medication)
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as tidying up and laundry
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations with clients
- Drive or accompany clients to medical appointments, errands, and shopping
Skills:
- Compassionate and caring nature
- Excellent communication (via English) and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Patience and understanding when working with elderly or disabled individuals
- Physical stamina to assist clients with mobility and perform tasks as required
