**Job Overview: **
Come join our Nurse Registry, Visiting Angels of Lake County. You choose your own schedule. We have been serving Lake County for over 25 years.
We are seeking compassionate, dependable CNA/HHA Caregivers. We encourage retired RN/LPN to join us. You will be caring one-on-one with clients in their homes and assisted living facilities. No need to run from patient to patient. We offer 24-hour care, 7 days a week to our clients in Lake County. Full-time, Part-time, PRN available. Days/Evenings/Nights/Overnights/Weekends available. We are a Nurse Registry, so you pick your hours and clients you wish to care for, along with the rate you wish to make per hour for each client. You are your own boss!
**Requirements: **
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) License (Has to be Florida Issued, or retired RN/LPN Florida Issued)
OR
- Home Health Aide (HHA) Certification (from Florida accredited program)
- CPR up to date (American Heart Association, Red Cross or Health and Safety Institute) *In person demonstrated skills, not online only. These are the only acceptable CPR courses
- Level II Background Check (Conducted in our office at time of interview if you have been previously fingerprinted in the State of Florida)
**Responsibilities**
- Provide compassionate and attentive care to clients in their homes or communities.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and observe patients' health status, reporting any changes to healthcare professionals.
- Utilize knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations in patient care.
- Engage in light housekeeping duties and meal preparation as needed.
- Demonstrate sensitivity and understanding when working with seniors and individuals with disabilities.
