Visiting Angels is a leading private-duty home care organization serving seniors and the caregivers who support them. As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead our People function and help shape the next phase of our evolution.
This is a hands-on leadership role for a high-energy HR professional who enjoys building teams, strengthening culture, and creating scalable HR systems in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
- Own and lead end-to-end HR operations for caregivers and office staff
- Supervise and mentor a Recruiter while driving full-cycle, high-volume hiring
- Build and execute recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention strategies
- Serve as the primary point of contact for caregiver relations and concerns
- Partner with leadership on workforce planning, retention, and growth
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, benefits, FMLA, and Workers’ Compensation and process appropriate documentation.
- Experience with Unemployment process from filing, completion of paperwork to final resolution and payment tracking
- Benefits administration for caregivers and office staff
- Develop SOPs and HR processes that support a growing organization

What We’re Looking For
7–10 years of progressive HR experience (recruitment, compliance, benefits)
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws
Experience in high-volume hiring environments (healthcare preferred)
Confident, ethical, people-centric leader who can balance empathy and accountability
Proficiency with ATS, HR systems, and performance management tools
