Visiting Angels is seeking reliable and compassionate Caregivers to support seniors and adults with disabilities in their own homes. You'll provide the assistance they need while building meaningful relationships along the way.
Responsibilities
- One-on-one companionship
- Personal care assistance
- Bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding
- Meal preparation
- Medication reminders
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Errands and grocery shopping
- Transportation to appointments
- Assistance with daily living activities
- Electronic documentation using a smartphone
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Professional or personal senior/disabled adult caregiving experience preferred
- CNA/LNA certification is a plus
- Dementia/Alzheimer's experience is a plus
- Dependable, compassionate, patient, and professional
- Must enjoy helping others
- Able to lift up to 25 pounds
- Able to reach, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable vehicle
- Active automobile insurance required
- Able to pass a criminal background check
- Comfortable using a smartphone for clock-in/out and documentation
