Job Summary
*** We are looking to staff 12 hour shifts in Walton, Kentucky Monday- Sunday as soon as possible.
- Caregiver experience required. Must be able to assist with Transfers and have effective communication skills to give verbal cues and prompting.

Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and observe changes in health status to ensure safety and well-being
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking
- Administer medications accurately following care plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy
- Maintain detailed documentation of care provided, patient observations, and any incidents or changes in condition
- Support clients with cognitive impairments by implementing memory care strategies and engaging in meaningful activities
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment to promote overall health and comfort
Skills
- Proven experience in home & community care or assisted living environments with a strong understanding of patient observation and monitoring techniques
- Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, hospice care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder
- Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, and HIPAA compliance are highly desirable
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely using equipment like Hoyer lifts; physical stamina for long shifts is essential
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients, families, healthcare professionals, and social workers
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols and creating personalized care plans
- Compassionate attitude combined with strong organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
