We are looking for employees who want to work part-time or full-time throughout the week, offering you the opportunity to provide one-on-one caregiving to seniors in your area. With the flexibility of making your own schedule, you get to choose what days and times of the week you want to work! We need people who are available all hours of the day and night. Shifts range in length of 4 hours-8 hours-12 hours.
Must have a current and valid driver's license, car insurance in your name, and a reliable vehicle to drive to your clients' homes.
Job Summary:
- Companionship, Bathing, Dressing, Grooming, Toileting, including Incontinence Care
- Assisting with errands and doctor’s appointments
- Daily housekeeping and assisting with organization
- Preparing light meals
- Encouraging movement and interaction
- Insurance offered after 6 months of full-time status!
Preferred skills for applicants
- License or certification for HHA, PCA or CNA (not required)
- Ability to drive within Charlotte, Union Co -- up to 20-40 minutes
- Must live in Charlotte, Matthews, Pineville, Mint Hill, or Union County
- Valid and Current Driver’s License
- Pass an onboard drug screening
- Pass Criminal background report and Motor Vehicle Report
- Must be able to read and follow detailed care plans and write detailed notes on each shift
- Ability to lift 50lbs. in order to transfer clients from bed to wheelchair to toilet, etc.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend for long periods of time
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate in-home care for seniors, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Monitor and document patient observations, adhering to care plans.
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment for clients.
- Drive clients to appointments or social activities as needed, ensuring reliable transportation.
