Lunch and Recess Monitor
As a recess and lunch aide, you'll play a crucial role in creating a safe and positive environment for students during their non-instructional time. This role involves significant periods of standing and walking, both indoors and outdoors, as you'll be actively supervising children during meals and play. We are looking for adults to serve as lunch moderators 3-5 days a week from 11:00 - 1:40. Students range from First through Eighth grade.
Duties:
- Supervise students while they eat in the gym or classroom
- Help students with their meal and ensure proper disposal at conclusion
- Supervise students during recess play outside or inside depending on weather
- Reinforce rules and procedures to ensure safety
- Communicate with faculty members and administration
Requirements:
- 21 years of age or older
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Updated Clearances
- Pennsylvania State Police Background Check
- Child Abuse Clearance
- FBI Fingerprinting
- Protecting God’s Children
Candidate must have all required clearances and must attend the Protecting God's Children class provided by the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. Archdiocese of Philadelphia application also required for employment.
