Position Summary
The Tourism Bureau is seeking a friendly, organized, and community-focused Client Services Specialist to serve as the welcoming face of our Visitor Center on Saturday and/or Sunday. This role is vital in promoting Racine County as a destination by assisting visitors, distributing tourism materials, and supporting day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities
Visitor Services & Daily Operations- Open and prepare the Visitor Center each day (lights, doors, displays, climate settings)
- Welcome and assist visitors by providing information on local attractions, events, dining, and lodging
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls and respond to voicemail inquiries
- Monitor and respond to email inquiries related to tourism and visitor services
- Process and fulfill Visitor Guide requests via mail
- Accurately track and record guide distribution and visitor data in spreadsheets
- Retrieve and distribute incoming mail
- Secure the building at closing
- Restock and organize visitor materials, including guides, maps, and brochures
- Ensure displays are neat, current, and visually appealing
- Maintain cleanliness of the lobby and visitor areas
- Seasonal: Compile and submit weekly fall color reports during September and October to support regional tourism updates
- Passion for tourism, hospitality, or community engagement
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data tracking
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Ability to lift and move materials up to approximately 35 lbs
- Experience in tourism, hospitality, customer service, or administrative support
- Familiarity with Racine County attractions, events, and local businesses
- Experience working with the public in a relaxed environment
