Share your knowledge of Alaska and enthusiasm for travel with some of the hundreds of thousands of people who will visit Anchorage for vacations, conferences, and business trips. Visit Anchorage operates Visitor Information Centers in downtown Anchorage and at the airport.


Grow into a new opportunity in tourism, or lend your expertise to travelers enjoying the trip of a lifetime in Alaska. 


In this role you’ll meet and greet visitors, provide details on local activities, accommodations, events, and other information, and assist them in making the most of their time in the community with directions, trip advice, and tour bookings.

Skills and Abilities 

  • People skills and interpersonal communications are a must 
  • Sound knowledge of Anchorage and Alaska – with plenty of opportunities to learn more 
  • Commitment to great customer service, and solid sales skills 
  • Basic computer skills 
  • Comfortable in a fun, busy environment 


Weekend, weekday, full-time and part-time hours available.
