Role Description This part-time Clinical Specialist role is an on-site position located in Brookline, MA. The Clinical Specialist will support optometrists and other eye care professionals by preparing exam rooms, assisting with pre-testing procedures, and ensuring accurate documentation of patient information. Responsibilities include performing basic diagnostic tests as permitted, educating patients about eye health, eyewear options, and follow-up care, and coordinating smooth patient flow throughout the visit. The role also involves maintaining cleanliness and readiness of clinical equipment, upholding safety and compliance standards, and partnering with retail team members to support an integrated patient and customer experience. The Clinical Specialist is expected to provide compassionate, efficient service and contribute to a positive, patient-centered environment.
Qualifications
- Clinical and patient care skills, including basic eye care procedures, patient pre-testing, and familiarity with common diagnostic equipment.
