Overview
Our client is seeking a highly analytical and technically strong SAP BW4/HANA & S4/HANA Consultant to support enterprise reporting and data solutions within a heavily on-prem SAP environment. This individual will operate as a senior-level individual contributor responsible for solution design, development, and end-to-end ownership across reporting initiatives.
This role requires a self-starter who can work independently, think strategically, and design scalable solutions with minimal oversight. Candidates must possess strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities in addition to deep SAP technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support SAP BW4/HANA and S4/HANA reporting/data solutions
- Partner with reporting teams and project leadership to gather requirements and design scalable solutions
- Own end-to-end development lifecycle including design, development, optimization, and support
- Analyze business scenarios and translate requirements into technical solutions
- Support and optimize enterprise on-prem SAP environments
- Participate in technical and analytical discussions surrounding architecture and reporting strategies
- Troubleshoot and optimize performance within SAP reporting environments
- Operate independently with limited direction in a fast-paced enterprise environment
Required Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP BW4/HANA
- Strong experience supporting S4/HANA environments
- Proven experience designing end-to-end reporting/data solutions
- Experience working within heavily on-prem SAP ecosystems
- Strong analytical and solution design capabilities
- Ability to think independently and operate with minimal guidance
- Experience supporting enterprise reporting teams and stakeholders
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Nice to Have
- Power BI exposure
- Cloud knowledge/exposure (not required)
- Prior experience in large enterprise SAP environments
