Position SummaryThe Landscape Maintenance Foreman is responsible for managing a landscape maintenance crew, overseeing daily operations, ensuring quality standards are met, and providing excellent customer service. This position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and hands-on experience in commercial landscape maintenance.
Responsibilities- Lead and supervise a landscape maintenance crew on a daily basis.
- Perform and oversee mowing, edging, pruning, mulching, weed control, and seasonal cleanups.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to company standards.
- Train and develop crew members on proper landscape maintenance techniques.
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.
- Communicate with clients and management regarding property conditions and service needs.
- Complete daily paperwork, timekeeping, and job documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance on all job sites.
- Identify enhancement opportunities and communicate them to management.
- Minimum 2 years of landscape maintenance experience.
- Previous crew leadership or foreman experience preferred.
- Knowledge of commercial landscape maintenance practices and equipment.
- Ability to safely operate mowers, trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers, and other landscape equipment.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
