Real Estate Paralegal
About the Real Estate Paralegal Role
We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to support hotel acquisitions, sales, financings, and development. You will work directly with our Chief Legal Counsel and CEO and manage transactions independently. No degree is required; real-world experience matters most.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate commercial real estate and hotel closings from contract through post-closing
- Assemble, proofread, and track closing documents and checklists
- Coordinate title, surveys, and due diligence
- Communicate with outside counsel, title companies, surveyors, municipalities, and hotel brand representatives
- Form and maintain New York and Delaware business entities
- Support eviction and tax assessment matters as needed
- Occasional local travel for filings, closings, and property visits
What We're Looking For
- 3 years of commercial real estate paralegal experience
- Hotel or hospitality transaction experience
- Ability to manage multiple closings independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Adobe Acrobat, and DocuSign
- Paralegal certificate preferred, not required
The base pay range represents the low and high end of the pay range. Actual salaries will vary depending on many factors such as skills, experience, certifications, and performance, to name a few. The rate listed is just one component of the total compensation package for associates.
