JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a Project Manager to join our operations team. This role is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering AV integration projects on time and within budget. You will coordinate cross-functional teams including Engineering, Installation, and Service to ensure successful project outcomes. The ideal candidate combines technical understanding with strong organizational and communication skills to manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining client satisfaction.
ResponsibilitiesProject Planning and Execution
Develop detailed project plans including scope, schedule, resource allocation, and budget
Coordinate project kickoff meetings with internal teams and clients to establish expectations
Manage project timelines and milestones, identifying and mitigating risks proactively
Track project budgets and control costs to maintain profitability targets
Ensure projects are delivered according to contracted scope and quality standards
Team Coordination
Coordinate Engineering, Installation, and Service teams throughout project lifecycle
Schedule and manage subcontractors and third-party vendors as required
Conduct regular project status meetings and communicate progress to stakeholders
Resolve resource conflicts and adjust schedules to meet project demands
Client Communication
Serve as primary point of contact for clients during project execution
Provide regular project status updates and manage client expectations
Manage change orders and scope adjustments with proper documentation
Coordinate site visits, walk-throughs, and acceptance testing with clients
Documentation and Process
Maintain accurate project documentation in CRM and project management systems
Ensure proper handoff to Service team upon project completion
Document lessons learned and contribute to process improvement initiatives
Manage procurement and equipment orders to align with installation schedules
Requirements
3 years of project management experience, preferably in AV integration, IT, or construction
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with project management tools and CRM systems
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Knowledge of AV technology, unified communications, or low-voltage systems preferred
PMP, CAPM, Project or CTS certification preferred but not required
Bachelor's degree preferred but not required with relevant experience
