Responsibilities MIG and TIG weld small and large components Assess welded surfaces, structures, and components to identify errorsFollow and enforce strict safety regulations such as wearing heat-resistant gloves, safety glasses, protective masks, and safety shoesMonitor machinery for appropriate usage and temperatureWeld components in diverse positions (i.e., flat, vertical, and overhead positions)Follow OSHA safety guidelines, and ITAR compliance Other duties as assignedSkillsAbility to read blueprints in detailAbility to identify and find specificationsKnowledge of geometric tolerances (understand and recognize all symbols)Thorough understanding of general tolerancesComprehend sections and viewsUnderstand reference systemAbility to locate and read stock list on drawingAbility to operate pressesUse of hand tools (drill motors, grinders, etc.)Ability to saw, miter, and fit fabrications (fit and tack)Experience TIG and MIG weldingEducation High School Diploma or equivalentDue to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship or Valid Permanent Resident status is required.Job Posted by ApplicantPro
