Shifts Needed: Night

Nights | Monday- Friday 5p-4:45a (HOURS MAY VARY DEPENDING ON DEPARTMENT)

Responsibilities

• Set-up and operate CNC machines to produce custom tooling/parts using various materials, ensuring adherence to customer specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance and replace any tool heads as needed.
• Load raw materials into CNC machine to produce parts.
• Read and interpret technical blueprints and design models.
• Monitor machine operation to detect any problems or errors, make recommendations.
• Adhere to all safety standards and regulations including appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Inspect finished products using precision measuring equipment (calipers, gages, and micrometers) to ensure they meet required tolerances and specifications.
• Document and report any issues or irregularities that may arise during the machining process.
• Collaborate with other machinists and team members to troubleshoot and solve production issues.
• Continuously improves skills and knowledge through training and experience to increase productivity and efficiency.
• Must be able to achieve quality and production goals.
• Use hand tools, inspection tools and machinery as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Experience with CNC machines specifically 3 and 5 axis.
• Attention to detail, quality and safety mindset.
• Basic blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge.
• Understanding the relationship of speeds and feeds with various materials.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and computer skills.
• Problem solving and trouble shooting skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to take direction and work as a team.
• Must have the ability to operate industrial trucks, and overhead cranes.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job.
• Standing for long periods of time, lifting loads up to 50 pounds, bending, stooping, twisting.
