Position Description
Supports the day-to-day activities of customer accounts with a focus on billing and accounts receivable. This includes resolving customer inquiries, tracking customers returns and payment, and assisting with collections. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, collaborative spirit, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
Essential Functions

- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels.
- Review customer accounts to ensure accuracy of billing and resolve any discrepancies
- Process payments and credit memos, and track customer payments to ensure timely and accurate collection
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer-related issues
- Monitor and report on accounts receivable to ensure timely payment and minimize delinquencies
- Manage and maintain customers records throughout different software platforms and ensure they are up-to-date and accurate
- Contribute to interdepartmental responsibilities including return processing and ecommerce shipping and inventory management
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
Qualifications
- A minimum of an associate’s degree or training in accounting and billing
- 1-2 years of experience in billing and accounts receivable, or a similar role
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Suite (particularly Outlook, Word, Excel), billing software and customer relationship management (CRM) systems preferred
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills including the ability to handle multiple assignments and prioritize work.

Understands importance of adherence to all relevant company manufacturing, shipping / packaging and quality assurance related to Visionary Optics SOPs, Forms, Logs and indexes to ensure compliance with FDA regulations.
