Summer Intern - Technical Support Specialist
Job Overview:
Our rapidly growing retail business is looking for additional assistance this summer in our technical support team. The successful candidate for this role will have strong customer service skill and have a willingness to learn about networking. We need an enthusiastic individual who can listen to customer issues and then offer a solution to each problem.
Eligibility:
Must be both a full-time high-school or college student currently and returning to high school/college in the fall and between the ages of 16-24. This internship will run May 26 through August 15.
Primary Responsibilities:
Support customers over the phone
Support walk-in customers
Respond to voicemails, emails, and chats, which accrue after hours
Follow up on unresolved issues
Escalate or create work orders as necessary
Assist with internal escalations
Document interactions with customers.
Qualifications:
- Understanding of computers from Windows to Mac. As well as internet-based applications such as email apps and Browsers.
- Basic understanding of networking and networking equipment.
- Showing attention to detail and documentation.
- Customer service skills and working with customers over the phone as well as in person.
- Patience and a willingness to learn, this is a must.
- Ability to work in multiple systems at the same time.
This position is onsite 5 days a week (Monday-Friday).
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: $19.23 per hour
