Role Description The Development Director (Part-Time, Hybrid) is a temporary role responsible for leading and implementing Visionaries Voices’ development strategy to sustain and grow philanthropic support. This on-site role is based in Cincinnati, OH, with some flexibility for hybrid work as appropriate. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing annual and special campaigns, cultivating and stewarding individual, corporate, and foundation donors, and supporting planned and major giving efforts. The Development Director will prepare grant applications and reports, oversee donor databases and reporting, and collaborate with leadership to align fundraising goals with the organization’s budget and strategic priorities. The role also includes planning and supporting fundraising events, coordinating with staff and board members, communicating impact to stakeholders, and ensuring that development activities reflect the organization’s inclusive values and mission.

Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in Fundraising and Philanthropy, including cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding donors.
- Knowledge of Annual Giving and Planned Giving practices, with the ability to design and manage giving programs.
- Proficiency in Budgeting and financial tracking related to development goals and campaign performance.
- Experience with grant writing, reporting, and managing relationships with foundations and corporate partners.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to craft compelling donor materials and impact stories.
- Comfort working in a community-based, arts or non-profit environment; prior experience with arts organizations or disability advocacy is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, artists, board members, and community partners, while managing multiple priorities with attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (such as Nonprofit Management, Arts Administration, Communications, or Business) or equivalent professional experience.
