Accounting Supervisor
A growing organization is seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to oversee daily financial operations and support monthly and annual reporting cycles. This role serves as a key link between staff and finance leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor accounting team members.
- Oversee daily general ledger activity, balance sheet integrity, and subledger workflows.
- Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and financial schedules.
- Ensure timely completion of month-end and year-end close tasks.
- Coordinate audit requests and prepare supporting documentation.
- Maintain and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable regulations.
- Identify and implement process efficiencies.
- Provide training and guidance on complex accounting matters.
- Prepare financial reports and analysis for management as needed.
This is a direct-hire hybrid role in the Atlanta area (three days onsite, two remote) offering strong benefits, PTO, and a collaborative culture.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including 1–2 years in a lead or supervisory capacity
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Solid understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and reporting
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems (PeopleSoft, Avalara, or similar)
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational abilities
- High accuracy and ability to manage multiple priorities
Preferred
- CPA or CMA

Salary : $90,000 - $100,000
