Job Description: Blue Yonder WMS Solution Architect
Overview:
We are looking for an experienced IS Solution Architect to join our team and ensure the successful implementation and optimization of the Blue Yonder Warehouse Management System (WMS) within our supply chain. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise to troubleshoot issues and drive continuous improvement in warehouse processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- WMS Implementation: Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, deliver functional specifications, and lead the configuration of Blue Yonder WMS.
- Business Process Analysis: Analyze business processes to identify improvements and translate needs into functional and technical requirements.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Lead functional testing efforts, identifying and resolving defects during testing phases.
- User Support & Training: Provide support for end-users, addressing inquiries and conducting training sessions on WMS functionality.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for enhancements in WMS and stay updated on new features.
- Documentation: Maintain documentation of configurations, processes, and training materials, and prepare reports on system performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience with Blue Yonder WMS, including implementation and troubleshooting.
- Skills: Strong understanding of warehouse operations and supply chain practices, along with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Certifications: Blue Yonder WMS certification is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with SQL or querying tools; understanding of integration techniques (APIs, EDI) is advantageous.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Blue Yonder's supply chain solutions and Agile/Scrum environments.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
