Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive strategic plans to grow federal business opportunities, aligning with organizational objectives and market trends.
- Lead and manage cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional service, project execution, and client satisfaction within the federal sector.
- Cultivate and maintain high-level relationships with federal agencies, contractors, and stakeholders to facilitate new business development and partnership opportunities.
- Oversee profit & loss responsibilities for federal accounts, ensuring financial targets are met through effective management of resources and processes.
- Drive business development initiatives by identifying emerging opportunities, preparing proposals, and leading negotiations to secure new contracts.
- Supervise project management efforts to ensure timely delivery, compliance with regulations, and adherence to quality standards across all federal projects.
- Implement process improvements that enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize project outcomes in a complex regulatory environment.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree and 15 years of experience in Business Development and/or Delivery in the Federal Market
Qualifications
- Proven management experience leading large teams or divisions within a federal contracting or government services environment.
- Strong strategic planning skills with a demonstrated ability to develop long-term growth strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Exceptional leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams, foster collaboration, and drive results in a fast-paced setting.
- Extensive experience managing profit & loss statements and overseeing financial performance for large-scale projects or portfolios.
- Demonstrated success in business development, including building relationships with government agencies and securing new contracts.
- Skilled in project management methodologies with a focus on process improvement and delivering complex solutions on time and within scope.
