The Handwork Supervisor, Lettershop is responsible for managing the quality and productivity of the handwork department in the Lettershop. Manually produce direct mail and/or other printed materials for distribution according to specific client requirements.

Summary/Objective:
The Handwork Supervisor, Lettershop is responsible for managing the quality and productivity of the handwork department in the Lettershop. Manually produce direct mail and/or other printed materials for distribution according to specific client requirements.
Essential Functions:
- Performs highly detailed manual assembly work requiring precise handling of delicate components that cannot be automated, ensuring each mail piece meets exact specifications through careful handling
- Participates in employee performance reviews and disciplinary action in accordance with corporate guidelines
- Meet assigned deadlines and achieve production goals
- Manages employee time
- Reviews and relays job requirements to employees
- Train employees to ensure job skill proficiency and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Participate in continuous improvement and process measures to increase productivity.
- Conducts QC checks as per standard operating procedures, ensuring quality of work meets customer expectations.
- Maintaining and monitoring compliance with company policies
- Operates inserter equipment as needed
- Maintain confidentiality of internal and external customers
- Preferred High School/GED or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
- Production experience with making mail preferred (insert machines)
- Supervision or lead experience of a production team
- Excellent attendance record and punctuality
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of USPS regulations preferred
- Working with co-workers and employees to accomplish company production goals.
Work Environment: Indoor, temperature controlled, production facility.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to be able to stand on feet for at least 8 hours/day
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Certain PPE may be required while performing specific job functions.
