Retail Sales Associate – Eyewear Specialist (Full-Time)

Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic, customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team full-time. This position requires open availability. As the face of our eyewear store, you'll play a key role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience—helping customers find the perfect pair of glasses or sunglasses while driving sales and building lasting relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet customers and assist them in selecting eyewear that suits their style, needs, and prescription requirements
- Provide expert knowledge on lenses, frames, and sunglass features through engaging product demonstrations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor, restocking merchandise and ensuring attractive product displays
- Accurately process transactions at the register, handling cash, credit with care and professionalism
- Clearly explain product options, ongoing promotions, and store policies to support informed purchasing decisions
- Use basic retail math and attention to detail to support inventory management and sales tracking
- Answer customer calls promptly and professionally, providing helpful and courteous service
- Work collaboratively with your team to achieve store goals and create a positive, welcoming environment
Qualifications
- Prior retail or customer service experience is a plus, but we’re happy to train the right candidate
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bilingual in English and Spanish or English and Russian (required)
- Familiarity with POS systems or cash handling is beneficial
- Passion for fashion, customer service, and a willingness to learn about optical products
