Machine Operator – Manufacturing / Grinding
Montebello, CA | $18 - $20 per hour DOE| 1st & 2nd Shift | Temp-to-Hire
Hiring Machine Operators for a precision grinding & machining company with 70 years in business. Entry-level friendly. Training provided.
Job Duties
- Operate and support belt grinding machines
- Load/unload metal parts
- Perform grinding, deburring, smoothing, and surface prep
- Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges
- Sort, label, and package finished parts
- Record part counts and basic production info
Requirements
- 1 year manufacturing, machine operating, warehouse, or shop experience
- Comfortable working with metal parts and hand tools
- Able to stand for long periods
- Reliable and willing to learn
- High school diploma/GED preferred
Schedule
1st Shift: Mon–Fri, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
2nd Shift: Mon–Fri, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM
Alternating Saturdays required
Pay
- $18.00 - $20 per hour, Depending on experience
- OT at 1.5x
- Temp-to-hire after 620 hours
