We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer with strong expertise in both manual and automated testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive test strategies, developing and maintaining automated test frameworks, identifying quality risks, troubleshooting complex issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, execute, and maintain comprehensive manual and automated test cases.
Perform functional, regression, API, performance, and exploratory testing.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright, TypeScript, Java, k6, MCP, AI-assisted testing, and related technologies.
Translate business and functional requirements into detailed test cases.
Design reusable and scalable automation frameworks using data-driven, keyword-driven, hybrid, and BDD approaches.
Integrate automated tests with version control, CI/CD pipelines, and test management tools.
Troubleshoot application issues using developer tools, application logs, HTTP requests/responses, stack traces, and heap dumps.
Identify quality risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
Proactively identify potential issues early in the development lifecycle.
Design performance test scenarios, user journeys, parameterized data, and load models.
Execute both predefined test cases and exploratory testing.
Log, track, and manage defects using tools such as Zephyr Scale and GitLab.
Validate application and test data using relational and NoSQL databases.
Analyze test requirements and profile production data.
Apply testing techniques including boundary value analysis and equivalence partitioning.
Participate in defect lifecycle management and continuous quality improvement.
Collaborate effectively with developers, system personnel, business stakeholders, and management.
Attend required meetings and training sessions.
Maintain strong attention to detail and contribute effectively within cross-functional teams.
3 years of Quality Assurance and/or Automated Testing experience.
Strong manual testing fundamentals.
Hands-on experience with test automation.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with 3 years of relevant QA/automated testing experience; OR
3 years of relevant QA/automated testing experience.
Additional related work experience may substitute for formal education on a year-for-year basis.
Local candidates preferred/required.
Candidates should be located in the Denver, CO area.
Hybrid position with 1 day per week onsite.
Strong communication, debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills are required.
