What We’re Looking For:
A customer-focused professional with a bright, outgoing personality who thrives on connecting with people. Ideal candidates will bring:
- Experience in Optometry or Medical Assisting (preferred).
- Tech-Savviness: Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) and comfort using advanced diagnostic tools.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work seamlessly with a team.
- Can commit to a consecutive 40 hour work week
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct pretesting with hi-tech instruments
- Serve as a scribe during patient exams using Crystal Practice Management.
- Conduct contact lens fittings, teach insertion and removal techniques, and perform screenings like OCT, fundus photography, and visual field tests.
- Assist in the management of the clinical area, ensuring smooth operations and excellent patient care.
- Support dry eye evaluations, coding for exams, and provide guidance on contact lens purchases.
