Medical Front Desk Receptionist – Full Time

Vision Source of Bowling Green is seeking a friendly, dependable, and highly organized Medical Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. This person is often the first and last point of contact for our patients, so we are looking for someone who communicates warmly, stays calm in a busy environment, and enjoys helping people.

Primary Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and provide a friendly, professional check-in and check-out experience
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with scheduling and general questions
- Schedule appointments accurately and help maintain an efficient patient schedule
- Verify and update patient demographics and insurance information
- Collect copays, outstanding balances, and other patient payments
- Scan and organize documents within the electronic health record
- Communicate clearly with doctors, technicians, optical staff, and other team members
- Respond professionally to patient concerns and help find appropriate solutions
- Maintain patient privacy and follow HIPAA requirements
- Complete additional administrative duties as needed
