About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Payroll & HR Administrator to support payroll, labor compliance, and human resources functions across multiple affiliated companies. This position serves as the primary payroll and HR resource for employees and requires a highly organized professional who can work independently and maintain strict confidentiality.
Responsibilities
- Process payroll for 100 employees across multiple companies and entities.
- Administer Nevada and California payrolls.
- Process union payrolls and ensure compliance with collective bargaining agreements.
- Review timecards, overtime, paid leave, and payroll adjustments.
- Prepare Certified Payroll Reports and support OCIP/CCIP reporting.
- Maintain payroll records and assist with audits and compliance reporting.
- Serve as the primary contact for payroll-related employee questions.
- Support onboarding, employee records, benefits administration, and general HR functions.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of payroll administration experience required.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education, professional certifications, and relevant payroll experience will be considered.
- Experience with multi-company and multi-state payroll processing required.
- Union payroll experience required.
- Certified Payroll and OCIP/CCIP reporting experience strongly preferred.
- Experience processing payroll for 100 employees preferred.
- Experience with payroll and timekeeping systems such as Paychex, ADP, NetSuite, or similar platforms.
- NetSuite ERP experience is a plus.
- Sign industry, construction, manufacturing, or skilled-trades experience is a plus.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll reporting.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional payroll certifications such as CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) or FPC (Fundamental Payroll Certification) are a plus.
