Job Title: Finance Director
We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Director to join our team at Vision Search Partners LLC. This role will be responsible for reporting to the CFO and Corporate Controller.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate month end management reporting and business analysis, including preparation of cash flow, revenue/sales analysis, product level gross margin analysis, inventory adjustments, operating expense analysis, and working capital metrics.
- Support and facilitate monthly management/business reviews with the CFO, President, and CEO/Founder.
- Provide improvements needed to drive better analysis on discounts, customer returns, and operating expenses to improve profitability.
- Conduct operating expense analyses, including Marketing, Sales Commissions, and other SGA analyses; drive SAP Concur System implementation.
- Prepare monthly/quarterly reporting to external lenders/banks, including covenants reporting.
Business Partnering on Operations/Inventory
Work with Inventory Leader, Corporate Controller, Logistics Director to document inbound/outbound freight processes (including costs, customer recovery, vendor agreements, customs duties, etc.). Support accurate reporting and analysis. Drive inventory reduction initiatives in collaboration with VP, Operations and Inventory Planning/Purchasing Teams.
Accounting & Internal Controls
Lead work on documenting and improving accounting processes and operations flows related to sales order to collection, PO/procurement to payment, and inventory purchasing. Prepare and review data for S-Corp tax returns, and/or Owner tax returns in collaboration with external tax consultants.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Minimum 5 years of public accounting and/or private company industry experience.
- Strong technical accounting skills.
