Our client is a private equity backed, rapidly growing, $80M group of construction and service companies within a niche market. The company is continuing to expand through further acquisitions with targeted revenue more than doubling over the next few years. They are building out their finance/accounting function and looking for an Assistant Controller to join their team. Highlights below:
- Great opportunity to be an integral part of "professionalizing" the finance/accounting function by implementing best practices and internal controls, leveraging technology for more accurate and timely financial reporting, and supporting a robust budget preparation.
- This hands-on yet strategic role will oversee daily accounting operations including managing financial reports, reconciliations, and month-end close processes. He/she will manage a staff of three.
- Ideal candidates will have related accounting and finance management experience along with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Construction or service industry and exposure to job costing will be a plus.
