Production Supervisor

Vision Profile Extrusions is hiring an Extruder Operator Lead to support daily production and provide leadership on the floor. This position serves as a backup to the Line Supervisor and helps operators with machine setup, process control, start-ups, die changes, troubleshooting, quality checks, and safe work practices.

This is a hands-on role for someone with strong extrusion experience who can help keep production running efficiently while maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and housekeeping.

What you’ll do:

• Support daily extrusion operations and help keep production running at peak efficiency
• Act as backup to the Line Supervisor
• Help oversee machine setup, fine-tuning, start-ups, shut downs, and die changes
• Review and approve shift impact test results and material runs
• Help maintain quality standards and address process issues quickly
• Train and support new and existing operators
• Promote safe work practices, housekeeping, and organized plant conditions
• Help ensure employees are following safety requirements and using required PPE
• Assist with documentation, process control, and timely correction of plant issues

What we’re looking for:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5 years of manufacturing experience in extrusion
• Strong working knowledge of extrusion processes and plant operations
• Leadership ability and experience guiding others in a production environment
• Strong communication, training, and problem-solving skills
• Dependable attendance and a team-oriented approach

Physical requirements:

• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, or balance
• Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and maintain focus on safety and quality

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
