What are the responsibilities and job description for the Apprentice Plumber - New Construction/Multi Family position at Vision Plumbing LLC?
Overview:
We are seeking a Plumbing Apprentice to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years' experience in plumbing, and the ability to work on construction sites. This is a great opportunity for less experienced candidates wanting to learn a trade as well. Pay scale will vary based on knowledge and experience.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble, install, maintain, and repair piping systems
- Collaborate with contractors, construction workers, and other professionals on-site
- Utilize power tools for cutting, crimping and threading pipe
- Help layout pipe routes, following specifications/blueprints while coordinating with co-workers
- Perform heavy lifting tasks when required
- Apply basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Ensure compliance with plumbing codes
Requirements:
- Valid driver license and able to be insured
- Proficient in using various hand and power tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Capability to work in diverse environments including construction sites
- A proactive attitude with a strong desire to learn, grow, and take on new challenges
