PLUMBING FOREMAN
Vision Mechanical is looking for an experienced Plumbing Foreman who can lead from the field, organize the work, solve problems, develop the crew, and keep projects moving without compromising safety or quality.
You will have the opportunity to lead, and you'll have the project support, technology, and resources to do it effectively.
ROLE AT A GLANCE
- Pay: $45–$50/hour ($93,000-103,000 annually), based on experience and skillset
- Experience: Minimum 6-10 years of hands-on plumbing experience
- Leadership: Demonstrated experience leading plumbing crews or technicians
- Work: Commercial and residential plumbing projects
- Location: Candidates should live in Berks County or within approximately 30 minutes of most of the county
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead and coordinate plumbers, technicians, apprentices, and subcontractors
- Plan daily work, manpower, materials, and jobsite priorities
- Execute work from approved drawings, specifications, submittals, and project requirements
- Monitor production, quality, schedule, and field progress
- Identify field challenges and develop practical solutions
- Maintain jobsite safety and reinforce safe work practices
- Complete required reports, documentation, drawing markups, and project communication
- Coordinate effectively with Project Managers, customers, other trades, and the field team
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 6-10 years of hands-on plumbing experience
- Demonstrated plumbing crew leadership experience
- Journeyman Plumber license required; City of Reading Journeyman license preferred
- Strong ability to read drawings, plans, specifications, and submittals
- Strong troubleshooting, planning, and problem-solving ability
- Ability to lead people while maintaining productivity, quality, and accountability
- Valid driver's license
- Comfortable using tablets, laptops, mobile apps, and jobsite technology
- Ability to meet applicable background-clearance requirements
