Plumbing Foreman
As a Plumbing Foreman at Vision Mechanical, you will be responsible for the supervision and coordination of all site personnel and subcontractors. Through your effective leadership and communication skills you will deliver a high-quality project safely and within contract budget. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented professional committed to exceeding expectations.
Plumbing Foreman Responsibilities:
- Supervises work in accordance with approved drawings and job specifications.
- Utilizes site resources (labor, materials, machinery) effectively to ensure timely project completion.
- Identifies and documents contract variations and notifies Project Manager.
- Troubleshoots challenges and provides solutions.
- Sets daily/weekly production goals and monitors related progress.
- Holds site personnel accountable to established safety protocols and delivers weekly Toolbox Talks to drive safety culture.
- Verifies Quality Control Guidelines are adhered to and confirms the accuracy of pending and approved submittals.
- Holds self and crew accountable to the Company’s core values.
- Completes and submits reports, logs, drawing mark-ups, and other related documentation as required.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience leading a group of technicians.
- Journeyman’s license. City of Reading Journeyman’s license preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Meets Act 34 and Act 151 background check requirements as well as FBI clearances.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Proficient in use of job site technology (e.g.- tablets, laptops, phone apps, etc.).
Compensation and Benefits:
- $35.00-$45.00/hour. Base salary offering will be commensurate with experience and skillset.
