We are seeking a skilled and experienced Optician to join our team. As an Optician, you will play a crucial role in assisting customers with their eyewear needs and providing exceptional customer service. If you have a passion for eyewear and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
Duties:
- Assist customers in selecting and fitting eyeglasses and contact lenses
- Take accurate measurements of customers' eyes and facial features
- Interpret prescriptions written by optometrists or ophthalmologists
- Educate customers on proper eyewear care and maintenance
- Adjust and repair eyeglasses as needed
- Process orders for eyewear and contact lenses
- Maintain inventory of eyewear frames, lenses, and accessories
- Keep the dispensing area clean and organized
Experience:
- Previous experience as an Optician is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of optical products, including frames, lenses, and contact lenses
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to vision care
- Proficiency in using optical equipment and tools
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in measurements
