Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist patients at the front desk
- Answer and manage incoming phone calls
- Schedule appointments and maintain patient records
- Verify and file vision and medical insurance claims
- Assist patients in selecting frames and lenses that fit their needs and lifestyle
- Dispense and adjust eyeglasses
- Perform preliminary patient testing and work patients up for the doctor
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure smooth office operations
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the patient experience
Qualifications:
- Friendly, professional, and patient-focused attitude
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Previous experience in a medical office environment or optical setting is highly preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate who is motivated to learn and grow
