What are the responsibilities and job description for the Credit Admin Clerk position at Vision Bank?
BASIC FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the direct supervision of the Credit Administration Department Supervisor, the Credit Administration Clerk is responsible for performing a variety of duties to properly maintain the credit files of commercial and consumer customers through the consistent use of best practices for completeness, accuracy, compliance, timeliness, and other relevant measures of quality.
DUTIES MAY INCLUDE ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING:
- Review daily all perfection documents scanned by loan personnel and remove any related exception items.
- Review daily list of paid loans and process any perfection releases needed in a timely manner.
- Verify all release requests have been approved by an authorized party. Ensure appropriate approval and/or waivers and exceptions are documented.
- Pursuant to written instructions from Loan Officers, prepare perfection release documents.
- Ensure loan documents comply with regulatory and policy requirements and properly perfect the Bank’s collateral interest.
- Complete lien and mortgage filings; maintain current liens by filing continuations and terminations as necessary.
- File perfection documents with appropriate recording agency.
- Coordinate with loan personnel and accounting monthly to compile report of all UCC filings.
- Maintain a current working knowledge of all internal policies and procedures as well as laws and regulations relating to loan documentation.
- Coordinate specific work tasks with other personnel to ensure smooth and efficient flow of information and perform other necessary duties to ensure effective realization of total department goals.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance preferred
- Prior banking experience may compensate for formal education
